Since its inception, the organization has been tirelessly working towards betterment of the society through various social service projects.<br>\n\n<br>Apart from 6 Balashramams and 4 Balikashrams, Shelter for Boys and Girls, Swami Vivekananda Cultural Society  is in the process of constructing boarding centers for elderly citizens.  Of late we have been coming across painful instances of abandonment of elderly parents in our country, needless to mention that it is the responsibility of every one of us, as responsible citizens, to provide care to them in all possible ways. Swami Vivekananda Cultural Society, as part of the organization\u2019s social responsibility has been constructing free boarding centers for these neglected elders all over Kerala and \u2018VANAPRASTHASRAMAM\u2019 is one such project. The proposed \u2018POORNATHRAYEESA VANAPRASTHASRAMAM\u2019, the eco-friendly Kendra at Mulanthuruthy, will be a project which imparts value based insights to the inmates. A full-fledged Library, Veda Vinjana Kendram, Yoga Centre and Satsung Hall will form part of this Kendra.
